"Focus on your progress. Everyone improves at a different rate. If you are improving, it's a plus."
What do you enjoy most about archery?:
"I get to focus on myself and clear my head. It also helps me to reduce stress."

"Everyone is open minded and willing to share their advice/experiences."
Main Responsibilities of Team Captain

Stand in for the Club Captain if they are unavailable for events.

Responsible for taking, compiling and documenting a weekly register.

Provide individuals attendance and scores for team selection.

Manage team selection discussions with the coaches (with Club Captain).

Liaise with coaches and Club Captain to determine performance goals, and how to approach them

Organise selection shoots (with Tournaments Officer).

Make team selection at the beginning of each term.

Scout the development team for performance team potential throughout the term

Ensure team arrives safely at shoots/competitions.

Decide selection criteria, and respond to archers who query their position on the team.

Classification, selection criteria and handicap schemes (with Secretary).

Booking and running extra training sessions.

Perform Toucan ceremony at competitions.

Making sure all club members (performance) sign a code of conduct.

Ordering t-shirts, hoodies and other club clothing (with Treasurer).
